TY - JOUR TI - A dedicated wearable device integrated in textiles AU - Leba, Monica AU - Ionică, Andreea Cristina AU - Rîșteiu, Marius Nicolae T2 - Industria Textila AB - The wearable devices have a big role in increasing the quality of life that should take into account also the persons withdisabilities. Our research focuses on a certain category of persons with disabilities, namely those with visual impair-ments. Thus, once again the technological progress must be capitalized in favour of the less fortunate. We propose anoriginal device easy to use and integrate into any textile product. The device contains a microcontroller, sensors andactuators. The sensors collect information from the outside world and provide a “picture” of it by means of tactile andacoustic actuators. The research opens the possibility of designing of fabrics using nanotechnology to have sensors andactuators directly into the fabric DA - 2020/02/27/ PY - 2020 DO - 10.35530/IT.071.01.1541 DP - DOI.org (Crossref) VL - 71 IS - 01 SP - 68 EP - 72 SN - 12225347 UR - http://revistaindustriatextila.ro/images/2020/1/012%20MONICA%20LEBA_Industria%20Textila%201_2020.pdf Y2 - 2020/05/26/09:41:43 ER -
